A neglected 1960s tower block has been transformed into an architectural landmark in the “EU capital” of Brussels. The façade of the combined apartment and office building known as “The Cosmopolitan” has been clad in façade panels from Steni.

35-year-old Steni Colour façade panels from a housing association building in Trondheim have been used to give an Oslo building from the 1950s a new lease of life.

Weather exposure: Villum Research Station on Greenland is exposed to extreme weather.

There are places on Earth where buildings are subjected to extraordinary stress from strong winds, massive rainfall and extreme temperatures. This puts excessive demands on the robustness and durability of the building materials – and puts Steni’s façade panels to the ultimate test.

Striking: It’s hard not to notice the colossal new data processing centre.

GOLD FOR TELIA BUILDING WITH FAÇADE PANELS FROM STENI

When Telia was designing its new, cutting-edge, environmentally friendly data processing centre in Helsinki, the architect chose to clad parts of the building with façade panels from Steni. The environmentally friendly choices resulted in a LEED gold rating for the building.

The building rises from a rock face jutting up from the ocean at Skutvik in Nordland. Steni Vision façade panels give the Arctic Salmon Center a quite unique expression that is really getting noticed.

On commission from Skanska and Link Arkitektur, section-manufacturers RVT have delivered prefabricated sections, using façade panels from Steni, to Vestfold Hospital Trust.
